Policy Terms & Conditions

  1. CONTRACT
    All offers, quotes and sales by Roller Star USA are subject to the following terms and conditions of sale.
  2. USE OF SITE
    Roller Star USA (Dealer) is a Dealer of Somfy Systems, Inc. (Manufacturer).  Products purchased on this site are to be installed and used in conformance with the manufacturers’ recommendations, installation instructions, wiring instructions, diagrams, technical support documents and literature provided with the product.All prices are subject to change without notice. Florida Sales Tax applies to orders delivered in Florida. Roller Star USA reserves the right to refuse service and cancel an order(s) at its own discretion.
  3. WARRANTY
    Products are warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use from the manufacturer (Somfy). Tubular motors for (5) years, Drapery motors for (1) year all starting from the date stamped or labeled on the product. To return a product contact the Dealer and acquire a Return Authorization code (RA). Products returned without authorization will be refused upon delivery. All products must be returned or shipped direct to the Manufacturer or Dealer for warranty, upon Roller Star USA sole discretion.
  4. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
    All orders are shipped FOB Fort Lauderdale, FL. Customers ownership of the product begins at point of shipment. Shipping carriers are selected at the sole discretion of the Dealer.  The carriers are responsible for goods lost or damaged in route, consignee should immediately refuse delivery and/ or notify the carrier at the destination, in writing, in order to substantiate formal claim at the point of delivery.
  5. INSPECTION AND CLAIM
    All claims against Roller Star USA must be made within 10 days after delivery, otherwise claims are waived.
  6. RETURNS
    Product returned must be in resalable condition showing no signs of installation with original cardboard box complete with product literature and manufacturers labels.  Proof of purchase is required. A Return Authorization is required. Electronics (Controls, motors with controls) are non-returnable. All products returned are subject to a 25% restocking fee.  Only return with prepaid shipping and insurance for the full value of the product.    
  7. LIMITED LIABILITY
    Five Star Quality Manufacturing Corp dba Roller Star USA liability for any and all claims, charges, expenses, damages, losses and injuries arising out of or related to its performance or breach of any agreement of sale of goods and the sale, delivery, resale, repair or use of any goods shall not exceed the purchase price of such goods. This shall be the Buyers sole and exclusive remedy against the Dealer outside the remedy provided by the Manufacturer. In no event shall Roller Star USA be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages.
